We have attempted to make your experience of shopping at PC Food as simple and enjoyable as possible.  Hopefully this section will help answer any questions you have about shopping at PC food, but if not please do not hesitate to contact us with your specific queries.

The Products
The products in this shop have been grouped into broad product categories. These product categories appear on the menu bar as icons.  Move the mouse over the icons for a pop-up description of the category.

Within each of these categories are a number of subcategories of more specific products.  The shop is arranged in this way to help easily and quickly find the products you want without having to sift through endless lists. So, to see the individual products just click through the various categories and subcategories until you find what you are after

The product listings are initially sorted in alphabetical name order, but you can change the order by clicking on the up/down arrows to the left of each column heading (i.e. Clicking on the arrows in the price column heading will sort the products by price).  Click on any one of these arrows again and the sort order will be reversed (i.e. Ascending to Descending and visa versa).

The Basket
We have provided you with an electronic version of a shopping basket so that you can pick up items from different parts of the shop (i.e. fill up your basket) before going to the checkout to pay for your goods.  To see the contents of your basket just click on the basket link at the top of each page. You can add to it at any time and put items back if you decide you don't want them after all.  To add items to your basket just click the order button from the product listing or product details pages. Note that some of our products have options (such as colour/size) which you will need to select (on the product details page) before you can purchase that item.

Checkout (Ordering)
To checkout or order your goods you must go to your basket and click on the purchase button. You will then be asked to confirm that your order is correct including any carriage costs that may apply. To confirm that the details are correct and that you wish to proceed with your order click the purchase button again.

Secure Payment
To purchase the goods you have ordered you will be taken to our secure payment page which uses Thawte SSL security to protect the payment information you send us. You will see a padlock (IE) or Key (Netscape) in the information bar of your browser indicating that you are now sending information across a secure connection!

Enter your credit card details and delivery address and send the form. Once we have recieved your order and payment details the order will be despatched and money debited from your card.

Account Holders
If you are an existing account holder with PC Food, you may pay by account. In this case simply ignore the card payment details section and enter your account number in the appropriate box. Your order will then be sent to the account holder address.
